Frame Wrap can be wraped thick or thin -
depending on your bike and where you ride
For rocky heavy downhill riding you may want a thicker wrap.
You would overlap the wrap in 2/3 laps for an extra cush cover.
For lighter trail riding you may want a thin layer of Frame Wrap
You would overlap the wrap in 1/2 lap layers.
Clean surface of bike chainstay.
Tear paper liner from wrap by stretching corner end.
Peel 6 to 8 inches paper liner from wrap at a time. Place end of wrap on your frame while weaving over & under to overlap.
Wrap must be slightly stretched to activate self-fusing properties.
Stretch and wrap chainstay in 1/2 to 2/3 overlap layers.
To end place thumb tightly against end point & stretch wrap over itself. Stretch & press firmly.
Peel wrap up & away from frame
Carefully cut through wrap.
Frame Wrap will have bonded into one solid protective piece.
This chainstay has been hiding under Frame Wrap for eight months. It endured weekly riding & racing... even raced the Downieville Classic and it still looks the same as when we wrapped it
